The Galway Bay is located in historic Annapolis, steps from the State House. Killarney House is located in suburban Maryland about 20 minutes from Annapolis. The restaurant offers great dining in its pine walled interior with high ceilings and antique farm tools decorating the walls. In the warmer months we have outdoor dining on our plant and flower bedecked porch. When things are cooler you can request a table by the fireplace in the restaurant. Our pub is cozy and filled with classic advertising signs from Guinness and other Irish favorites. Our staff will take care of you with the best of Irish hospitality. We also have musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday night throughout the year with some of the best bands in the area. Brian Boru has answered the call of many locals who now have their very own authentic Irish Restaurant and pub where they can visit and be sure of a great Irish meal, professional service and the best pint of Guinness around. The the 45 foot, L shaped bar is made with recycled oak wood from abandoned barns in Pennsylvania. This wood décor is complimented by warmly finished walls and Irish memorabilia. On Friday and Saturday night we have live music featuring talented local performers here.There is also a sectioned dining room area built with the Galway Bay red brick walls and cottage red ceiling. Our Renovation in Sept. 2010 has created a more comfortable and classic, Irish ambiance throughout the dining room. We added features such as a fire place, spacious booths, more private lighting, and cushioned wooden chairs with all of the finishes characteristic of an old Irish pub. Join us for some of the best hospitality around and have a quiet dinner or a fun night in the pub.
